Fresh pudina tea (Mint tea) - Prepartion time 5 mins
One day i accidentally tried this tea. Which surprisingly turned to taste good so when i have fresh mint leaves started making this tea also. I dunno whether all will like this flavor, but i am sure it will be a healthy tea.

Do you have fresh mints available now and is it your tea time then this is right time to experiment this tea in your kitchen right away. It will take only 5 mins if your milk is already in the stove and if milk is boiling then only few mins. Try it out this new, interesting and tasty tea.

Ingredients:-
Milk - 1 cup
Fresh Mint leaves - 4 (washed and clean)
Sugar - to your taste
Tea leaves - 1 tsp (I used to use tata gold tea because it smell & taste good)

Preparation method:-
In a vessel heat 1 cup of milk. When it boils add the tea leaves.
Once nice aroma of tea come along with nice color, tear the mint leaves using your fingers, crush slightly and add to the boiling tea.
Leave the tea to boil for few seconds. Add required sugar and dissolve.
Filter the tea. Transfer to serving cup and surprise everyone with this healthy and fresh aromatic mint tea.

Fresh ginger tea (Ingi tea) - Preparation time 5 to 10 mins
I liked only dry ginger tea in my childhood but dad will ask for fresh ginger tea. I haven't tasted ginger tea for very long time. For past few years i love the flavor of fresh ginger tea a lot than dry ginger tea.
It will be very tasty and healthy drink surely all will love it and include in your daily menu.

Ingredients:-
Milk - 3/4 cup
Water - 1/4 cup
Brown sugar (pannam kalkandu)  - 1 or 1.5 tsp
Tea leaf along with big granules of tea- 1 heap of tsp
Ginger - 1 or 1.5 tsp (using cheese grater grate to fine strips and keep)

Preparation method:-
Boil milk along with water. Add the tea to boiling milk (increase or decrease the tea according to the texture of tea that you like. I like medium dark not too lite or dark)
When tea is boiling and dark, add the grated ginger and brown sugar (pannam kalkandu).
Let this boil for few seconds. Using tea stainer filter and serve the hot, healthy tea to your friends and family.

Badam paal (Almond milk)

Badam paal (Almond milk) - Preparation time 20 minsBadam milk is a health drink. You can consume this when ever possible along with low fat milk and less sugar. During occasions you can prepare this and serve chill or hot (which ever way you like)

Ingredients:-
Badam - 10 (Soaked for 3 hrs, peeled and grinded to smooth paste)
Sugar - 3 tbsp or as required (Use less sugar to make this drink healthy)
Saffron - few strings (optional)
Boiled Milk - 2 cup (200 or 250 ml)

Preparation method:-
Soak the badam and make to smooth paste. In a vessel add the paste, cooked milk and leave it to boil. Keep stirring.
When raw smell of badam goes off mix the saffron mixture and sugar. Boil it and transfer to serving cups.
Hot or cold both taste good.

Milagu & manjal paal (Masala milk)

Milagu and manjal paal (Masala (Pepper, Turmeric, palm sugar milk)) - preparation time 5 mins
We used to take this masala milk when we suffer from severe cold or throat infection.
As we are using natural medicinal ingredients you feel better.

Ingredients:-
Turmeric powder - a pinch
Panam kalkandu - 1 tbsp (Little water to melt the palm sugar and filter)
Milk - 1 cup
Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp

Preparation method:-
With little water add palm sugar or candy and melt by boiling.
Using filter remove the impurities and keep the (panam kalkandu) water.
Boil the milk. Add turmeric powder & pepper. Switch off the flame and transfer to a cup.
Add the palm sugar water and mix.
Serve this hot. It will be very soothing for the throat and get relief from cold.

During childhood actually we used to be very active, not felt the tiredness due to certain practise. Every week we used to take oil bath in sesame oil. Sometimes mom used to crush ginger and garlic in sesame oil and roast to crisp and give us to eat. The hot oil is for bath. Every fortnight we have to take this milk. Twice a month we will have ginger, lemon and honey juice in empty stomach.

We can be healthy buy taking correct food in correct proportion and in correct time. This is my 3C's. Sukku pal is one among the healthy drink.

When you are taking first time try in little quantity because we don't know whether you will be ok or the ginger will upset your stomach.

Ingredients:-
Dry ginger powder - 1tbsp
Water - little
Panam kalkandu sakkari (Palm sugar or candy) - 1 tbsp
Boiled milk - 1/2 cup

Preparation method:-
In a vessel boil water along with panam kalkandu (palm sugar) and dry ginger powder.
When the sugar melts and raw smell of dry ginger powder goes off, filter in a cup.
It will be bit spicy.
Add milk according to your taste and take. Consume bit hot. Even half cup is enough per person. You feel energetic. We used to take before going to bed.
